When The Boinks took off!

The Boinks rose during the imaginative and musical space-race of the early 1980s.  The trio — a poet, an artist, a melodist/keyboard player — not only entertained children in classrooms, workshops and concerts, but also helped kids write lyrics, compose songs and draw pictures about the stories and insights that came out of their own their own imaginations.  Boink!, they said, is the sound of a child having an idea.  Here's a sampling of the response back then.
